Revolution in Egypt: Protests in Cario

Eunice Goes, Assistant Professor of Communications, was one of the guest commentators (The American journalist and writer Stephan Glain, was the other guest on the show) on the flagship BBC World Service programme The World Today, on 12th of February. Between 7 – 9 am on Saturday, she was commenting on the unfolding Egyptian revolution and its rippling effects in the Middle East.
The show was presented by Rebecca Kesby.

The World Today is BBC World Service’s high profile, Sony Radio Academy Award winning, early morning news and current affairs programme. It consists of news bulletins on the hour and half hour, serious international interviews and in-depth reports of world news. The World Service consider it to be one of their most important strands, as shown in 2011 when it was kept as one of four key outlets.
