Dr Zantout Presents Paper at International Conference

Dr Hind Zantout attended the IADIS International Conference eSociety 2009 held in Barcelona, Spain from February 25 – 28.

She presented an inter-disciplinary paper that she co-authored with Dr James Boys, entitled "E-Government: Big Brother or Athenian Democracy?". The paper raised issues which resulted in a short, but lively discussion.

She also chaired a session entitled "Information Systems // IS Security Issues". Throughout the four days, she attended paper presentations on a wide range of topics and the tutorial session "Towards Village Information Entrepreneurship".
