Dr John Bonehill: Curatorial Research Fellowship

Dr John Bonehill, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Art History and member of the MA Art History faculty, will take up a Curatorial Research Fellowship at the Castle Museum Art Gallery in Nottingham from August 2007.

The post is supported by a Paul Mellon Curatorial Grant and Dr Bonehill will curate an exhibition entitled 'Paul Sandby (1732-1809): Picturing the Nation', as well as write the catalogue in conjunction with Stepehen Daniels. The exhibition is the first to bring together works by Sandby from several different collections, involving loans of works from the British Museum, the Royal Collection and Yale Center for British Art. The exhibition will open in the summer of 2009, the bicentennary of the artist's death.
