Richmond's Dr. James Boys

Richmond's resident Americanist, Dr. James D. Boys was consulting with the BBC once more this weekend to coincide with the visit to Great Britain by the American president, George W. Bush. Throughout the weekend, Dr. Boys was offering comment and observation across a variety of programmes on both BBC News and BBC World, bringing Richmond, The American International University in London, to the attention of millions of viewers around the globe.

Commenting on the situation, Dr. Boys remarked, "It really is testimony to the university that we are able to engage in this type of work with the world's pre-eminent broadcasting corporation. To have the Richmond brand associated with the BBC is a priceless asset and one that can only do credit to the university as it develops in the coming years."

Dr. Boys' work with the BBC comes in light of similar work with Press TV and Al Jazeera, with whom he is becoming a regular contributor.
