Dr Francesca Kazan delivers paper at Cooperative Education and Internship Association in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

"Mastering the Links to Success," the title of this year’s annual conference of the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA), was held in Myrtle Beach, SC. The conference was attended by 254 Internship Coordinators and Directors from many universities and colleges within the United States and Canada. The conference aimed to bring together professionals to discuss all aspects of internships—including employer expectations, ePortfolios, networking skills, and international placement organisations.

Dr Francesca Kazan presented her paper entitled "International Internships: The Path to Global Success." Her purpose was to highlight the challenges and benefits of our international experiential programme, to explain its history and development, as in our programme with China, and to present the unique advantages of working in a global environment such as the one Richmond’s internship programme provides.
