Dr. Dom Alessio to Speak at the New Zealand Studies Conference in Paris
Dr. Dom Alessio will present "Race, Utopia and National Identity in New Zealand, 1870-1930" at the 13th annual conference of the New Zealand Studies Association (NZSA) at the University of Paris Dauphine, 29 June – 1 July. The conference is the largest New Zealand studies conference ever held outside of Australia or New Zealand.
The conference will include a reception hosted by the New Zealand Embassy in Paris, and will be attended by the New Zealand High Commissioner from the UK, the New Zealand Deputy High Commissioner from London, the New Zealand Amabassador to France, as well as a number of university Vice Chancellors. Other speakers include professors from universities in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, France and New Zealand.
Dr. Alessio co-organized the conference and is also the Vice Chair of NZSA.
