Richmond Diplomatic Society officers
with Zac Goldsmith MP
On February 8th the Richmond Diplomatic Society (RDS) officers visited the Houses of Parliament where they met with the MP for Richmond Park, Mr Zac Goldsmith.
Mr Goldsmith discussed with the officials of RDS the possible engagement they could have with the UK government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as other mutual projects that deal with the environment, diplomacy and foreign policy.
“It was an honour to visit the timeless Palace of Westminster as a guest of a remarkable, young and promising Member of Parliament, Mr Zac Goldsmith. It was a privilege to discover that we shared many ideas and goals. I am confident that the RDS agenda and its concept can provide the mechanism to develop new and positive leadership. The United Kingdom has been a beacon of diplomatic learning for some time and for over three decades, Richmond University has been a source of London advancement. Together, we represent the harmony between tradition and progress. I am grateful for Mr Goldsmith’s hospitality and very much look forward to developing our co-operation on both local and national levels," said Saed Sarsur, President of RDS.
