Dhaka Alumni Association Proud of Their Richmond Roots

Few Richmond Alumni Associations around the globe are as successful and as willing to help spread the Richmond brand as those living and running companies in Dhaka, Bangladesh. With over 30 alumni covering the 70's, 80's, 90's and every graduation year from 2000 to present alumni from this electric city and country are working hard to help the Richmond admissions team identify future students to Richmond in London. "Whatever we need when we visit Dhaka is in place thanks to our former students who go out of their way to help" said Dean Kopenski durring a recent interview with him in the Sub-Continent. Our alumni in Dhaka are changing the world in industries as diverse as investment banking, higher education, computer software, the greeting card industry, textiles, shipping, printing and a madrid of other businesses. "When prospective students and their families ask me if Richmond students obtain jobs when they graduate I now simply answer No, they establish and build companies and hire students from other universities. The Dhaka Alumni collectively run over twenty companies with thousands of employees and a net worth in the hundreds of millions. "I think it is safe to say Richmond has made a difference in our gradutes lives and they respect their roots and want to give back to Richmond." We of course are greatful for this support and enjoy continuing the relationship far beyond those times spent in London.
