CNM Work Shops Planned

Three workshops have been planed on the Kensington Campus during the month of February. The workshops are open to anyone in the Richmond Community and will be presented by Mr. Kristian Skeie of Richmond. The workshops will be held in the Centre for New Media, basement of Asa Briggs Hall at 3-4PM on the following dates 7th, 14th & 21st of February.

Tuesday 07.02.06 @3-4PM Workshop CNM 1 how to Scan and to prepare images:

This workshop will show how to use the scanners in the CNM, scanning images from prints to negatives/ slides and how to prepare the images for projection, printing, emailing etc.

Tuesday 14.02.06 @3-4PM Workshop CNM 2 “How to do basic Video Editing”:

This Workshop will explain and demonstrate how to edit video (iMovie or Final Cut Express) and how to output the video on to tape/ CD or DVD/ QuickTime etc..

Tuesday 21.02.06 @3-4PM Workshop CNM 3 “Photoshop, some basic first steps..”:

This workshop will explain how to set up a project, save and prepare files for printing, emailing etc. It will also explain some typical file types and the differences between them.
