DEATH: Call For Papers
We invite proposals for papers to be presented at the 2010 Annual Conference of the Philosophy Society. The proposal should be no more than 300 words and should be submitted by Monday 22nd February 2010.
We are interested in the concept of death from any viewpoint, and welcome papers from a range of disciplines including philosophy, psychology and others, reflecting a secular perspective or religious faith, any cultural background, and from Students and Faculty.
Presentation at the Conference must follow the strict guidelines of the Society, which prohibits the use of Power-Point or other overhead displays. Reading is discouraged. Emphasis is placed on the use of 'open' language where technical terms are either excluded or explained simply. Reference to theoretical perspectives must be comprehensible to a general audience.
We look forward to your participation and invite you to respond by email if you require further details.
Contact any Officer of the Society to attend, submit a proposal or for further details
