Breaking Free From Child Poverty Photo exhibition at Richmond

Come see how children are breaking free around the world
'Breaking Free From Child Poverty' Photo Exhibition and Documentary

A photo exhibit will be shown from September 26 to October 10 at Asa Briggs Hall, Kensington Campus. The photos in the exhibit will show children from around the world breaking free from extreme poverty - thanks to the efforts of volunteers and donations provided by the New-Zealand-based Global Volunteer Network and Foundation.

These remarkable photos, taken by volunteers, show children laughing and playing, wearing new school clothes and studying new books. Kelsey Montague, a Richmond Art, Design & Media student, has organized this event, which will include the showing of a documentary she filmed at a number of orphanages in Nairobi, Kenya during the summer. The exhibit will be open daily for Richmond faculty, staff and students, from 9:00AM to 8:00PM.

To place a bid for a photograph please contact Kelsey Montague at F059307@richmond.ac.uk or call 0750 352 3171.
