A Richmond Student by Day, An English Tutor by Night

Steven and his Italian family
Steven Giannetto was a study abroad student, from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, enrolled at the Richmond Rome Campus, through AIFS. While in Rome he had an amazing opportunity to live with an Italian family during the summer vacation and tutor their daughter in English. Steven found that this experience was incredibly beneficial in helping him improve his Italian. During the fall 2010 semester at the Richmond Rome Campus, he continued the lessons on a weekly basis.
Steven said that of his six months in Italy, the relationship that he built with the family, are his fondest memories and that the time spent with them helped him improve his Italian firsthand. He personally recommends tutoring to other students as it is an incredible way to get to know Italy in a deeper, more personal way.
