'Two Richmond IR students publish in the academic journal Mediterranean Politics'

Mediterranean Politics Journal

Irina Iordachescu and Vanina Yordanova, senior students in International Relations at Richmond University, have published book reviews in the academic journal 'Mediterranean politics' published by Routledge.
The reviews appear in Volume 11, Number 3, November 2006 and offer an analysis of the following volumes: Atsuko Ichijo & Willfried Spohn (Eds), Entangled Identities: Nations and Europe, Hampshire, Ashgate, 2005 (review by Irina Iordachescu); and Carl Ceulemans, Reluctant justice: a just-war analysis of the international use of force in the former Yugoslavia (1991-1995), Brussels : VUB Brussels University Press, 2005 (review by Vanina Yordanova).
Dr. Costanza Musu, Assistant Professor of International Relations at Richmond and Book Reviews Editor of the journal, has expressed her satisfaction for the achievement of the two students: "Both Irina and Vanina have demonstrated great maturity, analytical capabilities and advanced academic abilities. I am sure they will excel in the graduate work they will have to deal with once obtained their degree at Richmond".
