Ms Tessa Whitehead

Tessa Whitehead is from Nassau, Bahamas. She holds a BA Hons from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design and an MFA Painting from The Slade School of Fine Art. She now works at her studio in Dalston, London. As well as teaching painting at Richmond University, she also teaches a summer art program in Barcelona.

Her work focuses predominantly on painting and photography and is a visual exploration of process and colour. Also contributing to her practice is the study of the interaction of verbal and visual language.
