Ms Kate Anderson

Kate Anderson studied animation as an undergraduate at Edinburgh College of Art and then at The Royal College of Art, from which she graduated in 2002 with an MA in Animation.

Before she joined a production company, she was a freelancer. She was appointed as an animation director, where she was involved in a diverse array of animated projects, music videos and commercials. For the most part she works digitally, but drawing remains at the root of her practice.

She enjoys being a hands-on animator. It is often time consuming but it is immensely rewarding. Alongside commercial work she continues to make my own short films and is currently developing a longer format project.
