Dai Roberts

Dai Roberts is an artist and sculptor and lives and works in London. He completed a Fine Art degree at the Nottingham Trent University (2002) and a Masters in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art (2005).

He has taken part in the Rojaraku spatial workshop in Latvia and the Braziers international artist workshops in Oxfordshire. In 2006 Roberts formed the Noonday demons a collaborative drawing project. In 2008 He won the Marmite painting prize. In 2009 Roberts held the solo exhibition UNIT at the Kingsgate gallery and was selected for the Jerwood drawing prize. In 2011 Roberts produced a series of screen prints and an exhibition for Rise art as a select artist. He has taught on several other degree level Fine Art courses, most recently at Coventry University. He has also worked within the commercial art world as an assistant to Turner prize winning artist Martin Creed.
