Dr Sarah Zaidan

Dr Sarah Z. Zaidan holds a BFA in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia, and an MA in Illustration from Kingston University. Her recently-completed PhD, The Adventures of MetaMan: The Superhero as a Metaphor for Modern Western Masculinity (1940-2010,) is a practice-based research project that aims to develop interactive media tools to interrogate superhero narratives and representations of male identity in relation to the experiences of relevant users in educational environments. Sarah is a passionate, enthusiastic educator, researcher and art practitioner, dedicated to creating dynamic ways to communicate ideas. Sarah teaches the Research Methods course and her office hours are Tuesdays 2.30-3.30 in the Fall semester.
