Dr Peter Bolton

Associate Professor of Science

Peter Bolton was born in Liverpool but has spent most of his life in London. He obtained a BSc (Hons) in Special Zoology at the University of Hull. After spending some years teaching in Zimbabwe, he returned to London and gained his Doctorate in Anatomy, examining the effects of low-level laser light on the process of wound healing both in vitro and in vivo. He has taught a variety of courses including Vertebrate Zoology and Genetics and contributed a number of guest lectures.

His current research interests include the use of image analysis in the non-invasive study of the skin and fish parasitology.
His interests are photography, paleontology, bush-walking and swimming with crocodiles!
