Dr Paul Rekret

Paul Rekret recently completed a PhD in Politics from Queen Mary, University of London in the field of political theory. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science and Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in Philosophy & Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam for which he was presented with the school's Academic Excellence award.
His research interests revolve around several foci: the relation between ontology and politics, theories of sovereignty, debates around both theories of democracy and revolution in continental philosophy and articulations of philosophical polemics. He is currently working on turning his PhD, on the concept of 'relation' in recent political thought, into a monograph.
