Tickets
For the 2011 ceremony, each student was allocated a maximum of three guest tickets for family and friends. We hope to be able to do the same for 2012 but this is dependant on how many total eligible graduates there are. Anyone requiring fewer than three tickets will result in additional tickets for those graduates wishing to bring more than three guests. These tickets will then be allocated, on a first-come, first-serve basis to those graduates who have requested additional tickets. All tickets are free of charge.

If you require more than three tickets to the ceremony, please contact Student Affairs BEFORE 15 April. After this date, we will know how many additional tickets are left and we will allocate them accordingly. We will need to know if any of your guests have medical or mobility problems which require them to have specific seating arrangments.

Tickets will then need to be collected at the mandatory Graduation Briefing on Wednesday, 16 May 2012.

The auditorium will open for guests with tickets from 9:30am. Up until 15 minutes before the ceremony begins, only guests with tickets will be allowed into the auditorium. Then, if there are any remaining seats, they will be available for guests not in possession of a ticket. Please note that the ceremony will commence at 10.30am sharp. In order to avoid any disturbance, there will be strictly no entry or re-entry into the auditorium after 10.25am. Should you arrive late for the ceremony, we regret that you will not be allowed into the auditorium, even if you have a ticket. So please make sure you arrive on time for this very special day. Bear in mind that there will be some sections of reserved seating toward the front of the room—please do not sit in this area as it is for the graduates.
