The Dining Hall offers three-meals a day, except weekends when we offer Brunch on Saturday and Brunch and Dinner on Sunday.

Our meal service is itemized and priced as such. Students are given a weekly allotment which turns over on Fridays. This allotment can be used at any of the dining facilities on campus.

Every Lunch, Dinner & Brunch offers a choice of:

  • Freshly made soup of the day;
  • Theatre cooking – cook-to-order stir-fry, curry or kebabs; eggs at brunch
  • Main Entrée
  • Vegetarian Entrée
  • Pasta, with a Vegetarian Sauce
  • Rice
  • Hot dogs or hamburgers
  • Salad Bar – with 8 choices
  • Fresh Fruit – including apples, oranges and bananas
  • Ice Cream or sorbet – with a choice of three flavours
  • Make yourself waffles, with three sauces
  • Make yourself sandwiches
  • Selection of hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks

Breakfast offers: (Sample menu)

  • Cereal – with 5 choices
  • Theatre cooking – omelet, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, French toast … eggs to your choice
  • Bacon, Sausages
  • Pancakes
  • Potato Waffles
  • Danish pastries, Croissants
  • Cold meats and cheese
  • Muffins
  • Bagels, Scones
  • Toast & Jams
  • Make yourself waffles, with three sauces
  • Fresh Fruit – including apples, oranges and bananas
  • Ice Cream or sorbet – with a choice of three flavours
  • Selection of hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks

Cost

Food is itemized and students are charged on a pay-as-you-dine system.

You are given a weekly allotment to use in any of the facilities Richmond operates. This allotment overturns at the end of each week.

Your basic allotment will include a continental breakfast, a 3-course lunch and a 3-course dinner.
