We offer a wide range of services to meet your catering needs, whether you are a student or a member of staff.

At the Richmond Campus there are three catering areas and a vending suite. The Dining Hall, called Restore provides freshly cooked meals, salad bar, cooked to order options, hot & cold drinks. Refresh offers a selection of made-to- order sandwiches and grab and go options and Starbucks in the Taylor library offers bean to cup coffees, hot chocolate, freshly baked pastries, traybakes & cakes, confectionery, crisps and a selection of cold drinks.

At the Kensington Campus, the service offered is the same as the Richmond Campus, except for the vending suite as the local Kensington Community offers an extensive and eclectic choice of late-night food and snack options.

We provide a balanced and healthy diet (always including at least one vegetarian entrée and a vegetarian pasta sauce) whilst introducing you to dishes that you may not have experienced in your home country. We urge you to try these new dishes and welcome your comments. As we have our own chefs and kitchens we can also cook your own creations for serving in the Dining Hall. Why not email us your favourite recipe using the link provided.

Every couple of weeks we have a BBQ in the summer or a theme night with all the dishes from a single country or region, keep an eye on the calendar and join us, they are always great fun - Entry to the Dining Hall on Caribbean Night required limboing into the Dining Hall, with prizes for the lowest successful entry.

We try to accommodate special diets. Students with special food needs should detail them in the relevant section of the Campus Housing Application Form.

Please feel free to contact me on extension 216 or by email at huttonc@richmond.ac.uk if my team or I can help in any way.

Yilkal completed a Richmond internship with Analysis International. After graduating, the company, which specializes in computer simulation and modelling, hired him as a software engineer. Yilkal has returned to work in the IT Department as a programmer and software developer. "I was attracted to Richmond because it's an American university in the UK, a good combination and also because of Richmond's computer course. I was impressed that they were using up-to-date computer programs that no one else was teaching in London. At Richmond, I combined computer courses with social sciences and trained in interpersonal skills. I was able to adapt to new experiences and made good friends from all over the world."
