The Office of Career Services hosts a range of events, lectures and seminars throughout the academic year. These are open to all Richmond students, study abroad students and interns, as well as recent graduates.

Internship Open House

Internships play an important role in helping students gain experience and enter the work force with confidence.

Join Richmond's International Internship Coordinator for an informative seminar on internship offerings at Richmond. In addition to meeting Sarah Douglas, you will also have the opportunity to speak to students who have completed internships through the University.


Alumni Panel Discussion

This panel discussion will bring together recent London-based alums with current students to discuss their career paths and the relevance of their Richmond degree in today's job market.

There will be opportunities to network with participants after the panel discussion.


Launching a Successful Employment Campaign

Starting a job search in 2012 requires more than just surfing the internet for available positions. Today you need to launch a personal promotion campaign that will tell employers who you are and why they should hire you! This seminar will show you outlets to promote yourself in person, on paper and virtually so that you can get out there and tell the world you’re looking for work. This seminar is a must for anyone looking to enter the job market this summer!


UK/US Immigration Seminar

Join our colleagues from ASG Immigration Services and get the most up-to-date information about post study work visas, work permits and changes in student visa regulations.

If you are considering staying in the UK after graduation, this will be an important seminar for you. Please come prepared with questions. There will be ample opportunity to speak with the presenters after the seminar.
