Hopes on the Horizon : Africa in the 1990s - Chronicles the rise of pro-democracy movements during the 1990s in six African countries (Benin, Nigeria, Rwanda, Morocco, Mozambique and South Africa). Premiering on PBS February 16, 2001 this two-hour documentary (narrated by Derrick N. Ashong, with original music by Tunde Jegede), tells the stories of the men and women who initiated, witnessed, and participated in these tumultuous changes.

Political Database of the Americas - The Political Database of the Americas is a non-governmental Internet-based project that provides reference materials, primary documents, comparative studies and statistical data for countries in the Americas. Sections include: Constitutions and Constitutional Studies, Electoral Systems and Election Data, Political Parties, Executive Institutions, Legislative Institutions, Judicial Instituions and Civil Society.

The Prime Minister of Japan & his Cabinet - The official website of the executive branch of Japanese government. It includes a profile of the Prime Minister and his cabinet, and information about the structure of Japanese government.

Russia

Revelations from the Russian Archives - Companion website to a 1992 Library of Congress exhibition. The docuemtns cover the range of Soviet history from the October Revolution of 1917 up to the failed coup of 1991, including Chernobyl and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
