Philosophy Encyclopedias & Dictionaries

Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy Online - This resource is provided via a RAIUL Library subscription. Do not be put off by the title Philosophy - this resource covers philosophy, but also psychology, religion, ethics, politics, social science, feminism, philosophy of science, environmental ethics, genetics and postmodernism amongst other topics.

Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy - More elementary than the Stanford Encyclopedia listed below, but a useful resource nonetheless.

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy - A 'dynamic encyclopedia' of philosophy: i.e. a work in progress with articles being made available as and when they are ready.

Dictionary of Philosophical Terms and Names - A concise guide to technical terms and personal names often encountered in the study of philosophy, from Garth Kemerling's Philosophy Pages. Although the entries are often brief, many include links to electronic texts and to more detailed discussions on this site or in other on-line resources (including the two listed above).

Study Abroad - International Internship

As a Junior at Eureka College in Illinois, Amanda sought an opportunity to come to London to study. She fell in love with Richmond's academic program and location and secured an internship with Cameron PR in Covent Garden. The opportunity to experience the West End Theatre scene was very important for her as she was leaning towards drama as a major.
