The Poetry Society - The Poetry Society exists to help poets and poetry thrive in Britain today. Established in 1909, and now one of Britain's most dynamic arts organisations, the Poetry Society is a membership organisation open to all. [University membership is curently under consideration].
The Word Hoard - The Word Hoard is a cooperative of writers, visual artists, performers and musicians, formed in 1991 in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, originally to run the town's Poetry Festival. Since then, the co-op has developed into a multi-faceted, many-tentacled animal, with an interest in all the art forms, but usually employing text as the starting point for its projects. Produces The Text, a collection of new writings produced six times a year.
