Metropolitan Museum of Art's Timeline of Art History - The primary goal of the Museum's Timeline of Art History is to provide a basic geographical and chronological context for the history of art around the world, from prehistory to the present. The content of the Timeline of Art History is based on the collection and scholarship of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is not encyclopedic.

Women Who Ruled - Subtitled 'Queens, goddesses, amazons 1500-1650' this is an online exhibition of one hundred Old Master paintings, prints, drawings etc. on powerful women.

World Myths and Legends in Art - Comprises 26 works of art in the collection of The Minneapolis Institute of Arts inspired by mythology around the world. The rich variety of images makes it possible for teachers to address a wide range of study areas, including language arts, humanities, art, social and cultural studies, and world religions. Cultures covered include African, Euro-American, Chinese, Japanese, Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Greek & Roman, Western European, Native American and Oceanic.

Great Buildings Collection - 'This gateway to architecture around the world and across history documents a thousand buildings and hundreds of leading architects, with 3D models, photographic images and architectural drawings, commentaries, bibliographies, web links, and more, for famous designers and structures of all kinds'.
