Patron (or User) Information

The Library creates a Patron record for every user.

You can see the details of your user record on the Voyager Library OPAC.

This may be under 'Patron Information' on the first screen, or under the Patron button within the OPAC.

To access the information you will need your Library user number or barcode, (which is the ten-digit number found on the very bottom of your student ID-card), or you can use your Institution ID.

Library user number : 0390018025
University ID-number : M123 102

You will also be asked to enter your last name/surname/family name.

Within Patron Information you will find several sections:

Personal information: usually just your address. If this is incorrect please notify library staff.

Charged items: these are the items you currently have out on loan. You can renew these books online.

Request information: details the status of any requests you have made.

Fines and fees: details any fines or charges that you have incurred. Hopefully this will never show anything. If you do have outstanding fines it is in your best interest to come and pay these as soon as possible as outstanding fines limit your ability to place reservations or renew your books.

When you find a book in the OPAC you can place a reservation on material that is at another campus, or recall the book if it is out on loan to someone else. Again you will need your Library user number to do this.

Once you have finished with your patron account please ensure that you log-off the system.
