Be a Class Representative

This role is for the alumnus/a who likes to be in touch with his/her classmates all over the world and to catch up on their news.
In some cases the Class Representative will come from members of Student Government and, in other cases, a member of the class will volunteer to serve in this role for a period of three to four years. It is possible for an alumnus/a to serve several terms in this role.
As a Class Representative, you will contact your classmates wherever they are in the world to remind them of the good times at Richmond and to help the Alumni Relations Office know their professional and personal news. An individual Rep may develop a working relationship with local Alumni Leadership Committees and help to plan suitable events for their class.
Class Representatives help the University by serving as a communicator between the alumni and the university. Richmond will keep you informed about developments on campus and you will assist the University by sharing your classmates’ perspectives, ideas and questions as feedback to the Alumni Relations Office.
From time to time, there will be special projects that the University will ask Class Representatives to carry out. The Alumni Relations Office will provide support and information as needed for all aspects of this role.
