For a classy night out with friends that won’t break the bank, the Builders Arms is the perfect place to relax with friends between classes or at the end of a long day.

The Royal Albert Hall is just a short walk from our Kensington campus and is situated directly opposite Hyde Park. This world famous venue is steeped in history and stages more than 350 events each year including rock and pop concerts, classical music, jazz, folk and world music, circus, opera, dance, comedy, tennis, award ceremonies and film premieres. Anybody who is anybody will have played or performed here. It is an experience in itself just to visit this fantastic venue.

You may be in the heart of the city however you are only 5 minutes walk from green open spaces and tranquillity in the form of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Hyde Park is a massive, sprawling oasis in the heart of the city.  You can ride a horse, take a rowing boat on The Serpentine, watch an open-air theatre production or go to an exhibition in the Serpentine Gallery.  Kensington Gardens, once the private gardens of Kensington Palace, lie immediately to the west of Hyde Park. It is home to Kensington Palace, which was Princess Diana’s formal home,  the peaceful Italian Gardens, Peter Pan statue and the stunning Albert Memorial.

Imperial College

Imperial College is just a short walk from Richmond's Kensington Campus.

As a Richmond student, you are eligible for associate membership at Imperial. This will enable you to join any of their many clubs and societies. You can also access their gym and swimming pool facilities for a discounted gym membership rate as well. This is a great way to get to know UK students while you are studying in London.
