The Robert Brennan Memorial Scholarship

The Bob Brennan Memorial Scholarship

Dr. Bob Brennan

The University is pleased to announce the establishment of an endowed scholarship fund in honour of its past chairman, Robert Brennan (1936 – 2008).

The Robert Brennan Memorial Scholarship will be awarded for the shorter of eight semesters or the period that the student requires to achieve 120 credits, subject to the student maintaining an acceptable Grade Point Average (GPA). One or more award(s) will be made per academic year. The award(s), which will be up to a 100% tuition discount, will go to the student – new or existing – who is intellectually able and demonstrates significant financial need that cannot be met from other sources.

Current students must complete the Richmond scholarship application and include a copy of their Richmond transcript. The deadline for applications is December 1 for the spring semester and March 1 for the fall semester.

Prospective students must complete both the application for admission as well as the Richmond scholarship application. The deadline for applications is December 1 for the spring semester and March 1 for the fall semester.

Applications can be found on the Scholarships & Financial Assistance page.

The fund has been established by donations from the Chancellor, trustees, staff and faculty.

The first award will be made for the 2008 – 2009 academic year.

The Fund will be used to support the University's existing annual scholarship budget of £1.6m.

Donations can be restricted to the Robert Brennan Memorial Scholarship fund. To make a donation, please visit the Support Richmond pages to learn about the various ways to donate, including via our secure online form.

Prospective and Current Students are asked to contact Mark S. Kopenski, Vice President and Dean at: kopensm@richmond.ac.uk.
