Studying International Relations in London

Sitting at the crossroads of the world, at the gateway to Europe and North America, London is one of the most vibrant capital cities on the face of the globe. As the heart of the former British Empire, London abounds with history and power, reflecting both an age gone by, as well as that of a modern, prosperous democracy.
Richmond’s MA in International Relations has been designed to take full advantage of the many benefits offered by our central London location. Situated a short distance from Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament and the many departments of government, our Kensington campus is a prime location from which to observe first hand the machinations of international relations and global power politics.
The historic sites of London form more than a backdrop for Richmond; the city itself is a classroom that provides students the opportunity to mingle with decision makers and policy experts through a series of visits and seminars that reinforce the lessons learnt in lecture halls.
