Spring/Summer 2012 Places Open!

*NEW* 9 Credit China Business Course & Internship Program available from Spring 2012

Working in partnership with CRCC Asia, the Richmond Internship Office is now able to offer both 3 and 9 credit internship programs in Beijing & Shanghai for Richmond and non Richmond students! In an increasingly competitive graduate jobs market, this is an opportunity that is certain to launch you well above your peers.

Please read this recent article from the Wall Street Journal highlighting the benefits of carrying out an internship in China, with particular reference to CRCC Asia.

The placements are geared to give you a very different culture experience to what you would find in London. They will involve a significant amount of responsibility, where you can make the most of skills acquired from your studies. The positions will be open to students of several disciplines, but at this time, it is likely that most positions are business orientated. The placements are likely to be in a multinational company or a reputable Chinese company. You will not be required to be Mandarin speakers.

MA Art History

After completing her post graduate certificate in Art History, Cristina Richmond’s Internship Office helped to find a placement for her in London. The Internship Office organized an interview for her with The National Gallery Company for a Picture Researcher position. What was initially a three-month contract turned into 4 years of working there (and four publications) and a career in London.
