Our training and education in Business and Economics provides our students with many exciting opportunities within the world of work as well as for further study at postgraduate level.

The Department of Business and Economics at Richmond University specializes in offering quality undergraduate programmes in Business Administration (with 3 pathways, or concentrations), and in Economics.

As part of a liberal arts environment, academic ties are strong with other departments and programs, including Sciences, Communications and Arts. Inter-disciplinary skills are becoming an increasingly important component of education and a crucial part of today’s workplace. Richmond is unique because of its additional intercultural focus, enabling students to develop tools for understanding the relationships across and between cultures.

Average classes at Richmond are both much smaller and much more diverse than at most other universities. With a typical Junior or Senior level class size of between ten to twenty students, small group work and student participation is emphasized.

Additionally the Department has strong links with the University's Internship Programme and cooperates closely with it.
