In Autumn 2009, Richmond unveiled the Alumni Walkway and started a new tradition at the Richmond Hill campus.
Current students, alumni, faculty, parents and friends of the University are able to contribute to enhancing the beauty of the Richmond campus and mark forever their association with Richmond by purchasing a brick that will be laid in the walkway.
Students begin their Richmond careers at the Hill campus and it is appropriate to mark a personal association there by purchasing a brick to lay in the Alumni Walkway directly in front of the Main Building.
The price of purchase of every brick includes a donation to the University -- specifically to Alumni Scholarships to enable other students to study in Richmond's unique international environment. The Richmond Community Service Club initiated this walkway idea to mark the important legacies students take with them from studying in Richmond's unique environment.
Brick Laying Ceremony
Bricks will be laid twice a year in a ceremony in Spring and Fall, and can be purchased at any time during the year. For information about the brick laying ceremony please contact the office of alumni relations.
